How To Easily Kill Deathclaws in Fallout New Vegas

Deathclaws are one of the most deadly creature in the Fallout New Vegas. Enormous, agile and strong making them an almost perfect predators in Fallout New Vegas. Player may faces difficulty to kill a Deathclaw. Here are some useful tips on how to kill a Deathclaw using conventional ammo weapons (gun,sniper, rifle and etc).

Firstly, build your skills accordingly to your playing style. As for me, I build my character to use conventional ammo weapons, so i have to increase my Guns skill (determine my effectiveness using conventional ammo weapons) and Sneak skill (automatic critical attack when I kill something undetected).

Secondly, build your perks, accordingly your style. For me, Better Criticals, Bloody Mess, Finesse and Sniper perks are important because I love to kill Deathclaws using sneak attack (most damage using this method) and aim for the Deathclaws' head while in VATS. It was fun when I saw the Deathclaws exploded into pieces.

Thirdly, choose your weapon. I use Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle as my favorite weapon, or you can choose any other guns with high DPS or with high Damage. You also can use an ordinary sniper rifle. But if you do not have any of high damage guns, I'm suggesting you to find any of Special Weapons.

And the most important thing is your skills. Perhaps some of you will think this is not very important, but for me, every single Deathclaws hit will greatly decrease my HP, as I only use medium armor.
- if you can see Deathclaws from far away, crouch, aim for their head properly and shoot!! They will notice your presence, and will run after you. As they run to you, aim for their head or their biggest body part; torso.

- if you encounter close range combat with them, use your VATS, aim for their head. Before you do that, go away as far as you can, let your companion be your tanker (Lily is the best tanker) and kill the Deathclaws that attacking your companion.

- and if you encounter Deathclaws all alone, use your VATS, aim for Deathclaws legs and run!! But you also can try to kill all of them.


That is all my tips on how to kill a Deathclaw using conventional ammunition's weapons. Caution, this tips may not suitable if you are using energy weapons. Feel free to comment yea...thx

Fallout New Vegas Special Weapons' Locations

Fallout New Vegas offers a number of special weapons.These weapons are unique, but come with different stats. In this article, I would like to show another 5  locations,including an unique version of 9mm; Maria. Maria comes with 109 of DPS and 21 of DAMAGE, better than ordinary 9mm pistol, which come with 62 of DPS and 17 DAMAGE in 100% condition. Maria also looks more attractive, designed similar as a cowboy gun. A scoped version of varmint rifle also will be highlighted in this article. Trust me, you will find more fun if you go and explore the land of wasteland in the fallout new vegas.

9mm pistol : Maria

Weapon's name  : Maria

Ammunition        : 9mm
Location             : Benny's dead body
-to acquire Maria, you will have to kill Benny.
-loot the dead body
-there are several chances to kill Benny, as for me,I killed him after i raided the Caesar Legion's fort; 'The Fort'
- he was tied up and can be located in the Caesar's tent.
- You will find Maria is a very powerful pistol


 Pulse Gun


Weapon's Name : Pulse Gun
Weapon's Type   : Energy Gun
Ammunition         : Energy Cell (EC)
Location              : Vault 34

- You will find Pulse Gun, in the Armory Cache inside the Vault 34
- It will Be located near the 'All-american' rifle


Varmint Rifle : Ratslayer

Weapon's Name : Ratslayer
Weapon's Type  : Rifle
Ammunition        : 5.56mm
Location             : Broc Flower Cave

- a scoped version of varmint rifle, you can zoom while aiming a target using its scope
- to find this rifle, you will have to travel to Broc Flower Cave
- the rifle will be against a desk inside the cave




Fire Axe : Knock Knock

Weapon's Name  : Knock Knock
Weapon's Type    : Melee Weapon
Ammunition          : None
Location               : Camp Searchlight

- You will need to acquire the Fire Station's key from Logan, a prospector that can be located in Searchlight NCR Storage, either by kill or join him, your call.
- The weapon will be located inside of a restroom on the upper floor of the Fire Station


Tesla Cannon : Tesla-Beaton Cannon

Weapon's Name  : Tesla-Beaton Cannon
Weapon's Type    : Energy Launcher
Ammunition          : EC pack
Location               : Crashed Vertibird

- You will have to fight through as the site is heavily guarded by robots, protecting the crash site
- Probably, you will need pulse grenade as the grenade will do extra damage vs robot
- You will find the weapon near the crashed Vertibird

Fallout : New Vegas Special Weapons' Locations Part 3

I would like to highlight another 5 locations of special weapon in Fallout : New Vegas in this article. In this article, I will include a deadly minigun, 'CZ57 Avenger' in the list. The minigun also has a quite good physical look. Please leave your comment.

Grenade Machinegun : Mercy

Weapon’s name               : Mercy

Weapon’s type                 : Grenade Launcher

Location                           : Dead Wind Cavern

-          Caution!! You will encounter Deathclaws, including Mother of  Deathclaw and Legendary Deathclaw inside the cavern (I use Lily as my tanker to kill both)

-          In the cavern, you will find the weapon, lying near a dead body of ‘Brotherhood of Steel’

Zap Glove : Paladin Toaster

Weapon’s name               : Paladin Toaster

Weapon’s Type                : Zap Glove

Ammunition                      : None

Location                           : Black Rock Cave

-          Just explore the cave, you will find the glove lying near a dead prospector

-          You will encounter about 3 Nightkins inside the cave

-          This glove is the best unarmed weapon if you want to kill power-armored soldier or robot as the weapon give extra damage versus power armor and robot

Minigun : CZ57 Avenger

Location                          : The Devil’s Throat

-          You will encounter a few of ‘Evolved Centaur’

-          You will find the weapon by a dead body, inside a container trailer

BB Gun : Abilene Kid LE BB Gun

Weapon’s name               : Abilene Kid LE BB Gun

Weapon’s type                 : BB gun

Ammunition                      : BB

Location                           : Jimmy’s Well / Field’s Shack

-          There a several versions on how you can get this weapon.

-          First , bring Rex as your companion, as you wandering the Wasteland, it will barked for no reason, talk to him, and ask him ‘what’s wrong’, and pick the ‘a boy fell into a well?’(something like that, I’m not so sure) conversation option. After that, ‘Jimmy’s Well’ location will appear in you pip-boy. The weapon will be inside the well.

-          OR….  The weapon could be found on a shelf, inside the ‘Field’s Shack’ which is near the ‘Nellis Air Force Base.

.357 Magnum Revolver : Lucky

-          You will need 75 of picklock’s skill to unlock the safe.

In this article,I would like to highlight about another 5 locations of special weapons.
As the beginning, I would like to introduce about one of my very favorite weapon,it is 'Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle'. Come with high DPS,you will find this weapon is deadly, either at long or short range, especcially when you attempts to kill someone or something using sneak attack.


Sniper Rifle : Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle

Location                  : Sniper’s Nest

- Just go to the Sniper’s Nest
- The sniper rifle will be inside a footlocker lying on the ground
- To pick the lock of the footlocker, you will need 100 of picklock’s skill





Ballistic Fist : Pushy

Weapon’s name    :  Pushy
Weapon’s type      :  Unarmed weapon
Ammunition           :  None
Location                : Ruby Hill Mine

- Enter the mine, but beware, there are a few of mirelurk inside the cave
- Just explore the mine, the place is quite small
- You will find a Jackal Gang Member’s dead body, near a pond
- Loot the dead body
- In addition, surf into the pond, you  will find a mutant master with quite good loot




Grenade Launcher : Thump Thump



Weapon’s name         :  Thump Thump
Weapon’s type           : Grenade launcher
Ammunition                :  40mm grenade
Location                     :  Nellis Array

- Go into the generator room
- The weapon will be lying on the floor, near an Ant Mount
- In addition, ‘Ant Misbehavin’ quest is related to find this weapon


Nephi’s Golf Driver

Weapon’s name        :  Nephi’s Golf Driver
Weapon’s type          :  Melee
Ammunition               :  None
Location                    :  Samson Rock Crushing Plant

- Go to Samson Rock Crushing Plant, kill a fiend named Nephi, but beware,do not hit his head to kill him,   because it will reduce the bounty you will receive in the “Three-Card Bounty’ quest.





Q35- Matter Modulator

Weapon’s name      :  Q35-Matter Modulator
Weapon’s type        :  Plasma Rifle
Ammunition             : MF Cell
Location                  : Repconn Headquarters



- From the entrance, take the very first door on your right
- You will find a very hard locked door of shipping room
- You will need 100 of science or picklock skill to unlock the door
- The weapon will be in a pod casement inside the room.

Fallout : New Vegas Special Weapons’ Locations.

All of these special weapons have better stats than those of the regular weapon you can find in the game. These weapons also using same ammunition has been used by regular versions of these weapons. As example, Annabelle use missile as its ammunition, same as the regular versions of a missile launcher. In facts, these weapons also come with different unique design.
You may get some of these weapons by kill other character, either through a mission or you need to explore and find them. Some of them also can be bought, such as ‘That Gun’ and ‘Euclid’s C-Finder’.
There are 42 special weapons in total. Each with different stats and design, but bear in mind, it does not mean it would be better for your character or for you to use throughout the entire game and/or every enemy. In facts, it is actually depend on how you build your character and skills.
In this article, I will highlight 4 of them. More will be in my next article. Stay tune....

Annabelle

Weapon’s name    :  Annabelle
Weapon’s type     :  Missile Launcher
Ammunition           : Missile
Location                : Black Mountain

- Go to the black mountain, advisedly on day time, because during night, it would be more Super Mutant Master around the mountain and it will be more difficult for you to reach the top of the mountain.
- Kill the Nightkin Sniper, on the top of the mountain, and go to the dead body to loot Annabelle.

- Simply go to the Novac’s Dino Bite Gift shop, either you buy it or steal it from the storage room.

Euclid’s C-Finder

Ammunition            : ARCHII Charge
Location                 : Freeside

- This weapon can be found carried by Max, near Mick’s and Ralph in the Freeside
- Either kill him or buy it from him, your call…

Marks-man Carbine : All-American

Weapon’s name        : All-American
Weapon’s type          : Rifle
Ammunition               : 5.56mm
Location                    : Vault 34

- Go to vault 34, but prepare a lot of Rad-x and Rad-away as you will encounter a fully-radiated site and a lot of irradiated ghoul.
- The weapon will be on the floor on an turned table inside of the Armory Cache in Vault 34.

currently im playing Fallout : New Vegas,and barely to finish this game
interesting,but for those who dun have any interest in RPG(Role-Playing Game) type game,please stay away..

1. time (it is rpg,what do u expected?)
2. your patience (die,die and die)

a little info about this game :
u will start playing as a character (u need to build your own character,including ur gender,facelook and the most important,ur attributes point,this point need to spend wisely,so it can determine ur whole game)

the enemies are including super mutant (as u can see in the above picture),avenger and many more...
the most sweet part(at least for me ) in this game is,i can build my very own character,which mean i can be a good,or a bad character.Every action u take will take effect and determine ur storyline...
